Why I'm I taking BRC 421?

I'm very new to the Social Networking World. It has been a world that I've tried to avoid like the plague. However, I've come to the realization that Social Networking has become a dominate force in the way we communicate. Whether it hinders one's interpersonal skills or helps families and friends reconnect - like most inventions it has it's good points and bad points. So, I'm taking this class for three reasons:

I'm in need for a Level 400 Broadcasting course to fulfill my graduation requirements
to learn more about Social Networks
the class was highly recommended by my adviser
