This is a page for Jarrod, Andy and Prof Mejias to keep track of what we need to do in order to get the osw3go.net site ready for launch.

To-Do's

Stage 1

• Install drupal Publisher theme (Prof. Mejias)
• site logo (Prof Mejias) (temp)
• activate user pictures (Prof Mejias)
• site identification: title on browser, etc (Andy)
• orange menu bar: Home, Mission, How To (Andy)
• activate Featured Videos and link to our first video (Andy)
• activate recent comments menu (Andy)
• activate Who's New, Who's Online, etc. (Andy)
• insert Disclaimers in header and footer: "The events described in this website are fictional. Any similarity to real events is purely coincidental." (Andy)
• make sure users can post/create content easily (one button solution?) (Andy & Prof Mejias) if possible, have drop down menu with categories (not urgent)
• Create accounts for game characters and upload their corresponding pictures (take the picture from the prototype). Use leet in the names to signify fictional characters: Instead of Sara, use S@ra, etc. (Jarrod)
• Create user The Osw3go Observer (Jarrod)
• Under The Osw3gonian account, post all scenarios under the corresponding categories. Feature them appropriately on the home page. (Jarrod)
• Activate Feature 1 automatic cycle/rotation (Andy)(not crucial)
• Right menu bar: recent posts (Feature 3) (Prof Mejias)
• imageapi: parameters for pictures (Andy) I think we just need to adhere to the dimensions listed below
• add first post from last semester's prototype so that the game is not empty on launch (Jarrod)

Stage 2

• transform all current comments into 'story' posts (Jarrod)
• disable comments since everything will be a 'story' now (Prof Mejias will do this!)
• delete all TEST posts (LOL, Feature 2 Box, etc.)
• upload new pictures for Feature 1 'slideshow.' (Andy) Pictures should:
  • not show any recognizable landmarks from Oswego
  • not show any recognizable Oswego faces
  • not be from any college marketing materials (maybe do a creative commons search on Flickr?)
• Create a left-side (top) block with a menu for each each scenario.
• Since there will no longer be Comments, move Who's New and Who's Online to left side menu.
• Make How To Play page more pretty. Prof Mejias will do the basic format, and Jarrod can use that format to do the rest of the characters. (note to Jarrod: I got the link to their picture from User Management/Users, click on the character, right click on the picture and select Copy Image Location. I got the bio from the prototype.)
• Revise/edit scenarios (Prof Mejias)
• Tag seed post 4, Frat Prank Goes to Far, to its recpective category (currently only tagged to 'recent items')(Prof Mejias)
• Create characters and first reply to seed for "Grade Inflation" act.
